Lactose free diet

β€’4 Replies

Hi. I wrote about going away on holiday over a week ago..I'm back and had a great time. Once again the food was a problem - but this time, I managed my gluten free diet well surprisingly.😁 But, my lactose free diet was difficult. So much in the restaurant at the hotel wasn't lactose free. Same when it came to snacks. Finally, one day, I decided to just give up and eat something that wasn't lactose free and did it again - I had no symptoms at all after surprisingly.

Now, I've decided I'm not going to stick to a strict lactose free diet.

Glad to hear you had a good time on holiday.

You may well find that you have a certain tolerance level for lactose, so that you will be ok eating a small amount but get symptoms with too much.
