Welcome to the Healthy Eating forum, it's great that you're looking to lose 14 pounds to help improve your blood pressure, and I'd like to wish you success with that. Regarding when to weigh, there is plenty of information available to argue both perspectives, and I would say that you need to find out what works best for you as an individual - I like to weigh daily, but I know plenty of people who prefer weekly.

I don't recommend weighing too much - you'll just get paranoid! What I do recommend is a whole food plant based diet where you can eat to fulfilment at each and every meal and still reliably lose weight steadily.
