Thoughts on labrada lean body drink? my gym always sells them and my step dad drinks them but not sure how good they are for you. I did some research but still want other's thoughts. Will they make you gain a lot of weight if you aren't working out a lot?

I'm not familiar with that particular shake, but protein shakes in general are pointless unless you're either (a) doing a regular strength workout or (b) doing a very low-calorie weight-loss diet. In the latter case they're often recommended to reduce muscle loss.

Apparently the Labrada shake is high-quality protein with some safflower oil and no sugar or starch, so as far as it goes, that's a good product.

Just bear in mind that even if you ARE working out, your body can't really process any more than 20-25g of protein in one hit (ie., about half a serving of the Labrada protein shake), or more than 2.5g/kg over the course of a day (e.g. if you weight 75kg then 187g of protein is your maximum requirement - realistically, closer to 150g). Anything over and above that is just a waste of money.
