have look on the side effects on the steroids you are taking.

some steroids incress your appetite so you will put on weight. you can control that ..but its not easy.

if your eating more then you been used to then that is most probley the course of you been bloated...

it could also be any number of other reasons.

so the best advice i can give you is to talk your doctor about it...

Starchy food such as pasta makes me lethargic as they're low GI, though I don't suffer with boating. It might be good to try changing your diet to find foods that won't have this effect on you: anhinternational.org/wp-con...

Do you drink fluid with meals? If so, try having a glass of water half an hour before your mealtimes, rather than with food. Better still, adding a spoon of organic apple cider vinegar to the water. This increases stomach acid & helps improve digestion of food, as well as absorption of nutrients.

What had your doctor told you before prescribing the medication? When did you start taking the medication?

I know how you feel, I take steroids to. I am on a low dose now. 5mg. It’s not easy when you get those pangs to eat more. I either get up and do something? I like crafting, so I can do something there. Watching tv i eat celery and cucumber carrots chopped up, so I nibble on that. That seems to work for me. Let me know how it goes for you? Or if you have any other tips?

Hello mousetrap . Same here am on Predisone. I gained weight when I started and realized I had gained 7kg in two years so recently, I have cut out alcohol and severely cut down my sugar intake. More fruit , vegetables, a healthy vegetable soup is excellent, and smaller meal portions. Also don't forget to drink water and hot drinks unsweetened.

I've lost weight this way before. It takes getting used to, but in time you do adapt . Please don't despair, don't be too harsh on yourself . Small steps.

Sending best wishes.
