Dinner today at TGI Fridays. Lovely sesame salmon Superfood and would recommend this dish to anyone. No sides ordered or desert all about willpower and goals.

I agree and what a fab photo so nice one Louise,
Thank you LC x
In my opinion, while our society loves Salmon (including my wife) anyone who eats it thinking it is healthy is deluding themselves. 30% fat of which much is saturated. High in omega-3s is necessary to counteract much of the omega-6 intake, since it is the omega-3/6 ratio that is most important. Almost all salmon will contain mercury - probably encouraging dementia. Mercury may at me low levels, but what level is safe? The fact is there is no safe level of mercury. As far as i know many factory-farmed fish are fed recycled dead fish, turning them into cannibals!
Thank you for your feedback and opinion. I rarely have salmon and it is one of my choices when going out for a meal. I never buy it in as we don’t buy any fish out here. Therefore I would not say I love salmon and a huge salmon fanatic.
I think the link with dementia, I mean I have 2 family members who experienced a tragic life event that started their dementia.
I aren’t someone who stops eating carrots because a new study has just said you get cancer. Thanks for your feedback

I agree with the mercury issue, plus factory farmed fish are high in pesticides, fungicides & antibiotics as their caged environment is so unhealthy.
As fish are predatory & eat each other in the wild, I'd not go as far as to call them cannibals, especially if they're traped in a cage where their smaller/deceased siblings are also trapped.
Salmon aren't vegetables as they have a face & bum, which differentiates them from a vegetable! The vegetarian Society used to give out wee cards with a carrot on one side & a fish on the other to show to restaurant where fish was errantly on the vegetarian menu.
Wow that looks yummy
