What do you eat most of the time?

I had a recent bout of food poisoning (after eating some dodgy seafood) which led to several days feeling much like you do. I couldn't face much but drank a lot of lime and ginger tea, as ginger is good for any nausea. Fortunately my appetite is now back to normal, and it has helped me lose some excess pounds!

If indigestion is the problem, eat easily digested foods like yogurt, chicken, white fish, white toast, milk shakes and hot chocolate, with small amounts of fresh fruit like bananas, mandarins and strawberries for example, when you fancy it. Have several small meals rather than one huge meal. You might need an iron supplement if you can't eat green vegetables.

Watch out for fried foods (fat is hard to digest) and avoid highly spiced foods. Drink ginger teas and mint teas, and try some relaxation exercises as anxiety can play a large part in poor digestion.

Good luck with finding the right foods that suit you, and hope you feel more comfortable soon.

Gastro tablets? Are these for indigestion?

Some people get indigestion from having low stomach acid. Perhaps trying a spoon of apple cider vinegar in a little water, 30 minutes before you eat, will help. Get the type with a probiotic in the bottle, & give it a gentle shake before you pour.

Make sure to see your GP if the problem continues.
