Hello

It sounds like a challenge if exercise is difficult for you. Because I had to take medication for an autoimmune disorder - which encourages weight gain I switched to a low carb and low sugar style of eating which has worked well for me. I am sure if you reduce your intake of bread, pasta, rice, potatoes etc and replace with bigger helpings of greens and coloured veg - salads and stir-fries are great - and add smallish amounts of lean protein like chicken and fish - that you will certainly find the weight will melt off. I found I could have slice of toast with a boiled egg for breakfast - and this still happened - but I was generally firm about cakes, biscuits, pastries, bread, etc and this helped. I found it easier not to get too bogged down with recipes - just stick to simple food prep as there is quite a lot of slicing and cutting if you eat lots more fresh veg - I usually make a nice 'asian- oriented' coleslaw with lemon and oil dressing to last two-three days: finely sliced capsicum, cabbage, red onion, kaffir lime leaves, coriander, carrot - and or whatever else with a dressing of lemon or lime juice, a splosh of peanut or olive oil, chilli (if you wish) and some minced garlic is good. Just one idea...

Good luck
