Hey everyone!
What I realized about weight loss is that it is not hard in the first months but gets harder and harder in the long run. What is the key to sustainable weight lost? I saw many friends regain twice the initial amount they lost.
Hey everyone!

The trick is to choose a healthy style of eating that you can maintain, basically for ever.
Which means cutting out the processed foods, more fruit and vegetables, cooking from scratch and making eating like this a habit that you can sustain
Hi there, totally agree with benwl below, it is a complete lifestyle change, you shouldn't go back to the way you were eating before you started the diet. I followed a calorie controlled diet when I was a teenager and have to say I have watched my weight ever since and the heaviest I have reached since losing the weight is 10 stone, I weigh just over 9 1/2 stone now so need to lose 1/2 stone myself as my normal weight is 9 stone.
I have IBS so have been looking at different goods to eat, cut out etc and my diet has gone a little haywire since doing that. I now need to stop eating the rubbish; I do cook from scratch but it's the picking that I have been doing.
Reason for mentioning my initial weight loss above, which I didn't mention was 2 stone, is that I have kept within my ideal weight for 40 years; it's only lately that I have put on a little bit of weight.
Best of luck to you
If you want to maintain your body weight after a diet you should try to stay in the same weight for at least 1 year. Be careful with food combinations and avoid bread. If you want to eat something sweet it is better to eat it during breakfast not in the afternoon.
I hope it was helpful!
