Waistline

I don't think lm overweight, my BMI is 23.4 but I read recently that it's not good to have too much weight around your middle. Your waist should measure no more than 31.5 inches and mine is 34.5, should I be concerned?

I'm not sure where you got that statistic. The general rule is your waist should not be more than half your height. So if you are 5'9" or above you're fine.

sdwjew I got the recommended 31.5 inches waist measurement from NHS,I'm 34.5 but i'm only 5ft2inchs .It says anything over 34inchs isn't healthy!

Surely your waist measurement should depend on your height?

Visceral fat inside the body can squash organs inside the rib cage, so I'd be more concerned about that than a single waist measurement.
