I'm just wondering, do chia seeds have the same nutritional content no matter how they are prepared? Is eating them dry the same as soaking them in water then eating them? Would just like to know as they are very good for you so
Many thanks

Hi Backtobasics95 ,
This article is quite informative regarding Chia seeds, so you may find it helpful:

I usually have some sprinkled on my porridge for breakfast, and I have also tried making a chia pudding as well, which was quite nice.
Hope you enjoy them. I think they are extremely nutritious, whichever way you use them - i.e. soaked or non-soaked, and the article seems to suggest this too.
Hope you're having a good weekend.

Been reading up on this the past few days. I'm trying something new in the morning. I've got 2 cups of oats, 2 tablespoons of quinoa and 1 tablespoon of chia seeds. I've put them all in a mason jar and filled it with 2 cups of water, 1 cup of almond milk and a couple tablespoons of greek natural yoghurt. Mixed it all together for a few minutes and I've just put it in the fridge with the jar lid on to sit overnight. People seem to rave about this particular breakfast so I'm excited for the morning! Will probably have it with some brown sugar and a banana, yum!
Sounds really good - let us know how it tastes!
Tasted pretty good! But I made the mistake of not filtering the excess water out of it, so I kinda had a watery version of the meal. Next time I will put in less water and then filter it out in the morning. But it's very time convenient. Within 10 minutes after waking up I had already eaten my breakfast which is great. Also I have noticed a big change in my overall health since drinking a warm glass of lemon-infused water as soon as I wake up (before eating). It's supposed to prepare your intestines for digestion by speeding up metabolism and so forth. Give it a try
