I abstained for a week and had disappointing glucose levels. Then I had two glasses of Malbec with my supper, and the following morning recorded 6.2, my lowest blood test for awhile. Is there a link between the alcohol and the low reading?

The alcohol can make a person's blood sugar go lower and mimic a drunk/low in some people who are diabetic. How much wine was in the glass you had during dinner? Are you feeling okay?
