Can somebody please tell me the ideal amounts of carbs you are allowed on a low carb diet?

I am totally confused by the contradictory info I am reading.

Have a look at the xperthealth.org.uk and the diabetes.org.uk websites for information on carb counting for diabetics. Very helpful and full of good advice. You should also consult your diabetic team and check with them to see what they recommend.

I have T1 friends who would not go lower than 100g a day and non-diabetic friends who go as low as 20g! You need to make sure that you do not go too low (or too high!) carb.
