I am 47, ACOA, have complex ptsd, 1 kidney & 1 adrenal gland not working well. I am in constant fear of biological alcoholic, still abusive, but in ways I never imagined now as I am a adult and once I got sick.
Growing up neglect was included. Involving no one cooking.
I need some cheap, very easy, healthy meals and snack ideas/recipes please.
Thank you

I get alot of my healthy recipes from "I Quit Sugar.com". I found a very easy oatmeal cookie recipe...3 banannas, 1cup oatmeal, hand full of raisons. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minuted. Also great for breakfast. And they have sommany more great recipes. Also google. Good luck.
There are also some recipes there too, and if you look in the Topics section of the Healthy Eating forum, you can see a category called 'Healthy Recipes' which is worth a look through.
Many believe there is a Sting connection between mental health and disease. As an ACOA it is important that your daily emotional state now is rejuvenative- that you immerse yourself in good vibes and thoughts. Laugh often too too to help offset stress.
Thanks, I totally agree. However, I have been told to even begin healing I need to get away from toxic, alcoholic, abusive (growing up and once I got sick as an adult) in ways I still can't believe they have and continue to do.
But being on disability, draining savings for medical that disability doesnt cover, I have nothing. I can't afford to stay or move.
There are social services agencies that can help with this. Google domestic violence assistance and even if it is emotional and not physical abuse they may be able to assistance. Also catholic charities may help regardless of religious affiliation if any. You do not have to stay stuck - let me know how you progress.
Thanks sociallisa. Social services in the city/state I live in r actually federally being watched due to not doing what the position description states at all. I was told in a different city of the state by a great case worker to get out of this state, it is the worst for help, resources, etc. Thanks for the other information, I will check it out.
