Long term ketosis (no carb diet) will slow everything down eventually, and starve your microbiome.  So, a no carb diet is best done in intermittent periods.  I would not do it myself for any longer than a month.  Then eat low carb for a month, and then no carb again.  Some people alternate on weeks/days.  No carb is not a long term solution for most.  Neither is it entirely healthy, as your gut microbiome needs some fibrous carbs to make SCFA's justnaturallyhealthy.com/20...

There is a good book called Gut Revolution and tons of online resources if you want to know more. But perhaps you are eating fibrous veggies anyway?
