So having been through a really stressful time, I seem to have been eating my own body weight in rubbish! I've just been feeling very hollow and filling this space with binge eating, it's disgusting! I did make a half hearted attempt at making home made salads but I was constantly starving, so kind of feeling a bit lost at the moment.
Lost it!: So having been through a really... - Healthy Eating
Lost it!
I know that feeling (I'm sure we all do). This spring I came back from a long trip and absolutely stuffed myself for about 10 weeks, gained a pound a week and no way could I stop. Then I seemed to settle down and get back on track, I think because my life felt more settled. Try not to be hard on yourself and deal with the head things and maybe try some meditation or mindfulness, or something for you. When you are ready, you'll get back onto healthy eating and you'll wonder how come it took so long! It's a bit like giving up smoking, you have to be ready and not giving yourself a hard time over it when you are already stressed. Good luck! Maybe the sunshine will help.
Me too! Im going to try starting tomorrow the couch to running programme ive seen exercise make a difference to others, determination wise. Take a walk somewhere pretty maybe break the cycle of feeling low. I dont know but thats what im going to try.
Hi I too have had a really bad year, and my health and weight have taken the brunt of it, but im turning it around have joined the livewell program who give loads of support and advise, I start my day with a cerial and sliced banana instead of the four rounds of toast and jam or bacon butties, lunch ive been having a salad of lettuce tomatoes spring onion red pepper beetroot (fresh) 1 low fat triangle cheese, a small hadfull of sultanas, and a Be Light coranation tuna from aldi which is gorgeous at only 82 calories per tin, then evening have a cooked dinner loads of veg two small potatoes or 1 medium cut into four, and iether 4oz chicken or other meat, sometimes fish , or mince with fat drained off with veg I love my broccoli, and I have two ryvita with triangle cheese and a blob of onion relish for my supper if I feel a hunger pang coming on,
