you need to avoid all hidden sugar from all food intake, fresh food is best. Regular exercise in very important. Portion size, start with a small plate.
In the copy of daily mail there are photos giving portion size and calories, please take a look by Goggling. This is a very slow process.
Are you prepared to go for low cab high fat food intake?

Q:- what is LCHF diet
An LCHF diet means you eat fewer carbohydrates and a higher proportion of fat. Most importantly you minimize your intake of sugar and starches. You can eat other delicious foods until you are satisfied – and still lose weight.
Please look at this link.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks I will look into this! I appreciate your help
Hi I already typed a long message but it doesn't seem to have posted so apologies if this is a repeat, I'm currently losing weight with avoiding all junk, I can't bring myself to cut out carbs altogether but seem to be doing ok with very small portions of less processed carbs (whole grain and fruit etc) eaten with small portion of protein and I don't eat low fat anything but stick to small portions which seems to satisfy. I already ate a lot of veg and salad so didn't need to change this. I do a rough calorie count and try to stick to 1500 a day or less but it's not exact as mostly what I eat is home made and as unprocessed as I can. I'm not missing the junk now though it was hard at first the cravings have gone and if I do eat some I feel sick and headachy so not worth it! I'd say read about what works for others, give different things a try, and see what works for you whilst avoiding any fad diets that cut out important nutrients, and you're not on you're own, I'm pleased with my progress but I've got a way to go yet. Good luck x
Thank you x well done to you keep up the good work
