ive posted replies to people's questions when i feel i can add something here ! but stopped coming on here now because i feel if you have taken time to answer people's posts or questions at least there should be an acknowledgement or a simple thankyou .. is this to much to ask ?
I hate ignorance: ive posted replies to people's... - Headway
I hate ignorance
I do not always come on here, it might be weeks between me getting on the computer and thats even before you take into account any winter illness. Maybe others dont yet have time, especially at this time of year x
question well dodged danslatete .. lol
by the way thanks for the reply !
I understand what you're saying, I always try to make sure i thank people if they have taken the time to comment on my post x
cheers jord .. merry crimbo all the best
Same to you. Enjoy x
I never expect a reply given the nature of this forum; we're all drastically different persons bonded by a singular injury to the very bit that makes us what we are.
We'll all have particularly different effects so don't be too surprised at what you read, or don't read on here.
That there is no reply doesn't mean the original message isn't appreciated - it could mean the reader is either too knackered to reply with immediacy, or they forget.
Happy Crimbo!!!!
I've tried three times to type a reply to the original post...I think I may have a slight case of Xmas overload...but since brainedat17 has said pretty much what I was going to say anyway, I thought I'd tack on the this message....
and at the same time wish you all a merry Xmas.
I speak for myself if I have ever been guilty of this, but in defence of fellow TBI victims...social etiquette is WAY beyond me...
Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!!!
thanks fuzzy and brainedat , have a nice crimbo
makes sense happy peaceful and blessed christmas enjoy and celebrate
thanks neil , same to you mate
Merry xmas iforget
I'm guilty of this and im sorry - its not intentional - but please dont stop adding your comments as ive found this site such support - i will try harder like you say n ot much to ask x
ok thanks dotty and thanks for being honest to .. have a merry xmas ! and a good new year
Hi, I also try really hard to answer or reply but I'm sure
I have missed links etc some times and I'm sorry because
I have also put things on here and had no replies and I try not to
feel hurt but it depends how you're feeling at the time!
Big hugs everyone xx
i think its just courtesy at the end of the day , i mean if ya going to post a question your going to log on to see who's answered it , so theres the opertunity to acknowledge , nevermind i might forget .. or you would of forgot that you asked a question ! but yes i do have a problem with ignorance or bad manners more now then i did before my bike crash , maybe i dont have people skills anymore .. lol but thanks for contribution jigsaw and have a wonderful xmas and a good newyear
PS.. this topic has nearly got more intrest then my first post introducing myself .. lol (ironic)
Paul
Hi Paul
I'm sorry it feels like ignorance. I am often so overwhelmed by our situation that I neglect even my closest friends!
It is not intentional and it should definitely not stop you from contributing to this site; every question posed and experience shared helps, even if it feels like you're shouting into the dark!
Feel free to remind us again - I for one need a good poke in the ribs to get me to lift my head above the madness every so often :o)
Have a lovely New Year.
Charlie
thank you ! all the best
