balance i believe can be caused from hearing problems which again can all be caused from bruising and swelling to your face.

PTSD? have you been informed you have it? the reason i asked was i had no idea i had it until after many assessments.

were the reading glasses 'off the shelf' glasses or supplied after an eye test, as i cant find suitable ones off the shelf, they all seen wrong.

you really do need to see your gp and get a referral if you are worries about any brain injury getting assessments done is the right path.

hope this helps a bit

Yes, it helps by asking all the questions that some medical professionals will ask. Yes I have been informed I have PTSD by a doctor, which came as a hell of a shock I can tell you.I'm a 63 year old not a member of the services returning after a horrific tour of duty.My reading glasses are indeed prescription ones less than a month old.Going to the GP is not easy for me.Being the age I am and having been brought up by a grandmother born in 1887,I tend to have very old-fashioned ideas on what one should and should not do.One is that one should never bother he doctor until one was at death's door and that is still embedded in my brain. But, having been bullied by family today I see an audioligist,Thank you for your reply.

i would say ask for a referal, its better safe than sorry, and it can take quite some times to access the services you need.

also are they not giving you any help for PTSD?

because that needs addressing

\i know its hard asking for help, but it is needed, i like you dont bother my doctor unless things are real bad, then she tells me off for not coming sooner, i feel like a naughty school kid when she tells me off and i am 45 lol :)
