Another great display Chris 🌻🌻🌻

Sadly, sunflowers are still a no-no for me (squirrels eat & break them). But yours are a picture ; really impressive ! I love yellow.

I managed to create a mainly yellow garden this year (already had a yellow Tree-heather, Gleditsia tree, Eunonymus, Mahonia etc) ...my little bit of paradise. 🐝🌼🐞☘️

Nice work m'love ......and so worth all your efforts !

It’s quite easy patience and care then it looks after its self. 🤔

Nice to see out of the front window… not sure I’ll get the giant up to your height last year but going to be interesting to see how big the head gets. The seeds were massive for those.. loving the smaller multi headed ones colors are amazing. Maybe a few less or more smaller ones next time I’m pleased with it though. Seems to have been in flower for ages.

Hope you’re well and everything’s ok.

Much pain from knee surgery (gardening injury) but hopefully it'll sort itself out.

Just want to be mobile and pottering about again before too much longer..😏 x

Well done, very pretty sunflowers. My gardening attempts are quite pathetic, I plant, they look nice and the next morning have started to disappear. Between the slugs, woodlice, ants and whatever else is eating them my garden is not colourful this year. Just every shade of green ! Next year the flowers will be surrounded by eggshells, ginger, orange and lemon peel and anything else I read that keeps them at bay 😊 maybe I'll try sunflowers, do you grow them from the flower seeds?

I grew some from previous years seeds, some I got from a local allotment and I bought some packets. Around 10 different varieties. Most impressive are magic roundabout I bought this year Mr Fothergills small head loads of blooms and good color variation. First year in the ground and not in pots far better results this time.

Started them in March inside and planted out first week April luckily no frosts. I think this helped with the snails they seem to love eating them I did put slug pellets down to keep them at bay. Really easy to grow I did put a can lattice in to stop them falling over.
