Today is the EU elections

Please vote today in the EU elections. It's incredibly important for the country's future that you make your voice heard. By not voting, you're effectively making a hard and harsh no-deal Brexit more likely, sadly. That would mean a poorer economy, fewer jobs, greater austerity, benefit cuts, less NHS funding, fewer doctor appointments available, fewer nurses, health and social care workers.

I have always voted but not this time. I am so disgusted with the way all of the parties are behaving I won't be wasting my time.

You're letting other people decide your future, for better or worse.

it doesn't matter who you vote for they are all in some form going to make this country in a worse state than its in..

or are you ignoring the news;

The prime minister has shelved plans to publish her Brexit Withdrawal Bill on Friday.

Several senior members of May's Cabinet had requested meetings with her in order to demand she drops plans to hold a vote on a second referendum.

The former Leader of the House, Andrea Leadsom, resigned on Thursday over the plans.

LONDON - Theresa May has shelved plans to publish her Brexit legislation this week, ahead of a vote on her bill early next month, after senior members of her Cabinet withdrew their support for her plans.

The prime minister had planned to publish the bill on Friday ahead of a vote on it at the start of June.

I would support a act about brain injury than a about Brexit any day of the week

Sorry I was at the house of comms yesterday and in my head I am still there, I will try and step (nope im gonna fall off) my politic soap box

I fired my vote in!!!!

This is not a political forum, I don't like what you are saying, I would sooner see us out with no deal.

in reply to

It is a political forum in that politics decides how all aspects of our life can function.

Leaving with no deal will cause social and economic collapse.

Ok, but understand the implications of that decision. It would leave us at the mercy of trade deals with Trump's America including the privatisation of the NHS. Would you want a health insurance-based system of healthcare where the standard of care you receive depends on what your income is? I recall Mr Farage has said he's in favour of this.

Understand that there are many people in this country who you depend on for your livelihood, in ways you cannot contemplate, who would be strongly opposed to living with the consequences of your no-deal Brexit vision for Britain. You cannot have your cake and eat it.

Brexit party got my vote.

Our government is a shambles

in reply toHavingAlook1

As others have said this is a vote to support a party which wants to close off the borders from UK to the EU which will cause economic and social collapse.

Leaving the EU will put the country, and the NHS at huge risk of collapse and put us back 50 plus years.

I'm not in the UK to vote atm but strongly feel that we must remain in the EU.

Appreciate this is not a political forum, but since several people have commented, thought I'd add my opinion.

Well I see Mrs May has made a tearful farewell.

I will never forgive her all the tears that people with BI have cried through total lack of support. This Government has targeted the people with disability and we have to go and grovel for Pip etc.

Not trying to start a debate just saying how I feel.

All those saying NHS will collapse if we leave the EU, what bs it was here before Europe and will survive if we leave, EU drug Giants ripping NHS off daily. I prefer it if our MPs make our laws and set our policy on tax, crime and health. What is the point in having a government whose hands are tied with rules made by eurocratic idiots. Greece claims for more acres of farming subsidies than there are acres in the whole nation. EU read Mein kampf by Mr Hitler as it spells out what is happening in EU.
