Best friend Helen out of coma

Hope you are ok.

Sending you this good news about Helen condition from her bedside in the ICU.

Just before 3pm today Helen opened her eyes for the first time since she fell 30 ft over a balcony in a public place a fortnight ago today.

Helen was in an induced coma for the first week following the fall.

The doctors were in the process of weaning her of life support when she opened her eyes this afternoon because 2 days ago today she started to breathe unassisted.

Helen is now off life support and awake but has not said anything yet.

We will keep you all updated on Helen's condition.

Hello/Hi

Helen is defiantly responding to us including medical staff by squeezing our hands and blinking to YES and NO questions.

We were all shocked but very pleased when Helen opened her eyes for the first time since the 30 ft a fortnight ago today!

Thank you again for your ongoing prayers for us and Helen's recovery and I, family friend Lauren and girlfriend Hayley are still praying for you, Tony and family and send all our love including hugs.

I and Amanda's family are all very pleased to hear that Helen has woke up from her coma yesterday afternoon and you all must be over the moon that she's now awake.
