Update..

Just to let all you lovely people know that I have had my radiotherapy treatment on Friday and I survived it! I am now recuperating with my husband until Saturday when he has to leave to go back to work! I feel ok, a bit tired, the skin on my face was a little irritated(the mask was very, very tight) and felt hot for a few days but so far I haven't had anything really awful to put up with. I'm resting but still getting out and about for a walk everyday to keep my strength up. I'm going around this little rented house as if it's my own so that when I'm alone here I'm used to it. I'm not thinking about what symptoms I could have or get etc, I'm taking a day at a time and will deal with anything that crops up as best as I can...if and when that happens. I'm eating as if I'm a sumo wrestler for some reason...maybe the steroids! My eyes are hurting a little so I might not be on here until that settles but I am thinking of you all and wishing you good days! Lots of love. xx

Hi. that is great news !!!!! yes the Steroids do make you feel very hungry. Yes take things easy for a while. You know where we are if you need to Talk !!!!!!

It sounds like you're doing everything you can to show who's 'boss'. Staying in charge is so important during any illness and, after your recent setback, it seems you really have got the hang of it Peaches ; well done for overcoming your fear and fighting back so bravely.

Keep doing what you're doing ( plenty of rest/exercise/good food ) and please keep us updated with your progress..................and anything else you feel like sharing. Love Cat x
