So I went to the doctors today. He took my blood pressure sitting down, then standing up, and told me that I had lower blood pressure when standing, which isn't good (blood's not resisting gravity).
Now apparently this is due to the Keppra I'm now on (2x1500mg per day), namely the high dose. This would be a problem usually because it means if I go down on meds, I'd have more seizures, but as I had my UTI which lowered my seizure threshold when I had the last fit, I can go down on the meds safely now that it is gone.
So hopefully, I'll feel alright soon.

HI - BSA - we do it all different here in france - my doctor renews my prescription - after blood tests - (I am marginal diabetic, and take thyroxine for having underactive thyroid ) - every 3 months.- I also now have a blood pressure machine- you can buy them in chemists (pharmacies where I live in France) AND I HAVE TO TAKE AND RECORD FOR 3 DAYS PRIOR TO SEEING MY DOCTOR, MY BLOOD PRESSURE READINGS. taken morning and evenings at 3 x 5 min intervals - this gives a totally accurate indication of what is happening with blood pressure. I sit down but arm from elbow points upwards if that is of any help to people - The machines are not that expensive to buy - please do yourself a favour everyone and invest in one but do not become obsessed with it . Just use it as above as an indicator for your medical needs. The french healthcare system is very good in this respect,
