I have had FND for a year with sezures and muscles twiches and tremors, headaches also problems with gate and pain all on occasions. I was signed off neuropsychology a few weeks ago. The last 2 days I have got pain in the ball of my foot pain and back/hip. Today it is worse as I can't put my foot to the floor. There is no reason for this. I work on my feet. What should I do to help stop the pain. I have tried pain killers to no relief.

How to help pain in foot.
I am so sorry that you are going through this. The best answer that I can think of is for you to tell yourself, "The pain is fake," and to keep standing on your foot to work. Eventually, your brain might rewire itself so that it isn't so bothered by the pain. You might want to use an arch support, which would put more pressure on your arch so that you don't notice the pain from the ball of your foot so much. I wish you the best of luck with this.
I will try to think it does not hurt so that I can retrain my brain. Thank you for your help and advice.
I used to experience a lot of pain in my ankles, I set the ball of my feet and the Achilles too... So raising the feet helps and don't walk around if you don't have to... Easily said than done I know but if you have an electric chair or manual use it to balance the pressure on your legs. I still get the pain but not as bad anymore because I try to put weight on to my feet as much as I can and alternate wheelchairs etc the pain would make me cry but good luck - take your pain killers at a good time like at night maybe very late like 23:35pm if you know in the morning you need no pain etc
I referred myself for CBT for pain management (insight healthier run free services nationwide in the UK). It did help me learn to cope with it better
