Unable to have Cystoscopy and BCG treatment

I’m due for a Cystoscopy and BCG Treatment for my Bladder Cancer but I received a phone call from the Hospital who told me “Sorry Phil, type 2 operations due to the Coronavirus are unable to be done at the moment and may not be for 6mths. Doesn’t worry me as the Virus is more important. I’ve been through CNS Vasculitis, Type4 Testical Cancer and now Bladder Cancer and this Virus is more important. I’m use to waiting for things regarding sickness’s but hopefully it won’t be for too long.

Hi phil3 U wish I could be as positive as you after I had my mass removed from bladder I had appointed with surgeon only to be told it's with a cancer nurse she basically told me it's definitely cancer you will have six chemotherapy then testing every three months probably for life she couldn't tell me when I would receive my Chemo or why she had said I would be tested three monthly for life only said ask when you come for first appointment and then said goodbye she then came after me and said sorry I forgot to tell you you might have your bladder removed in the future as it's an aggressive form of cancer and is liable to spread if it absent already I was devastated as she told me this in the corridor hope you are still as positive it helps to know I'm not the only one still waiting

Same here...been 6 months since last bladder cancer screening and I got the phone call it was canceled, Hang in there, we are all in the same boat, and it is not sinking.

I'm booked a cystoscopy on may 6th. Am expecting a letter of cancellation at any time

Sorry Phil, I had to stop my treatments in February at KUCC and soon will get to go back. I hope you get to go soon. Best wishes for you.
