hi I have had Fibro for 10 yrs but it took 3 more before the consultant would diagnose this. i go for days with just mild pain and aches and work reasonably well but then i get hit with this overwhelming tiredness and just fall asleep. on the days when my pai. Is really bad this doesnt happen. Does anyone else suffer this I also get a really sad feeling x

I too get the overwhelming tiredness. The best way I can describe it is I just shut down. I have to sleep, my body gives me no choice. It doesn't have to late in the day, sometimes it's as early as an hour after I get up. X

Hi I´m "happy" I´m not the only one, I can take the pain but the overwhelming tiredness kills me, some days people look at me and ask me if I`m sad and I think for my self Know I just need to keep my energy so no talking no smiling just keep going doing my work praying for the end of my shift, go home and sleep. Some days I wake feeling very well, and how soon i start moving I´m ready to have a nice rest again, so don´t feel alone my friend,

YES I suffer like you and can sleep for hours! BUT I've found s miracle!! Tablets called modafinil I take one in the morning and it keeps me going and ups my mood a little. I looked online for answers, asked my doctor but she said there where two many side affects! But I couldn't cope no more and ordered them online, took ages to come but they work?. I am going to ak the doctor again but will have to say I got them from a friend with fibro or something, personally I haven't found any side affects but everyone is different, hope this helps x
