That's why I refuse to not take my night meds yes it may be a med induced sleep but its 7 hours of sleep and I feel a heck of a lot better than I did on 2or 3 hours of interrupted broken sleep... Plus I used to have panic attacks at night knowing I wasn't going to sleep

Nothing like a bit of shut-eye, even if it takes medicine to induce it!

I have spent hours reading through the night because I couldn't get to sleep, or if I did I'd wake ten minutes later with a start. Since I've been taking Dosulepin, I get a good 6-7 hours, and it's helped a lot.

I still read in bed, tho' - I just love it!

Same here, it's my me time and there's nothing quite like that lovely feeling when you can't read another word and have to turn the light off...BLISS...xxx

Gosh we sound like an advert for dosulepin.. That's what I take too... Looks at moffy are you sure you are not my thinner twin

Hi VG You recommended the dosulepin and I spoke to my gp. gutted. my thyroid is too unstable. story of my life!

I had been getting very little sleep and really struggling since October, went on hrt 3 weeks ago and cannot believe how much better I feel, still get pain as i have Hypermobility, fibro, arthritis but getting more sleep, less sweats and my mood has improved. I wonder how many of us have found fibro worse with hormone changes.
