How would you travel, chauffeur driven , cycle, do you have a cunning invention whirring round in your brain.... I know at this point Moffy and Sandra99b would throw me a broomstick... And it has been rumoured that I have a penny farthing bicycle bought from new .... But actually being an impatient traveller I would love to be able to click my fingers, spin and be in the place I wanted to be instantly as in the Harry Potter books. I know how Sandra gets about the forum so quickly AND she does stunts.... See photo... So how would you like to get around....

If your health wasnt a problem.....
I like luxury travel.
If I had my way it would be first class all the way.! I love luxury liners, big, comfortable cars and first-class service on 'planes.
At least I think I would, 'cos I normally travel 'cattle-class'!
If I were to be fit and well, I would get a bicycle again - I love cycling - but at the moment I would be a danger to myself and the public, and I doubt if I could climb on anyway!
Gonna have a go on VG's penny-fathing when I pluck up the courage!
Moffy x
Am I mad?!
If younger (and rich !) I would love to go on a road trip visiting places along the way. Probably through France, Italy, Malta back up and then visit Spain on the way back !!
But for now a trip I wouldn't say no to an offer to go on the Orient Express would be lovely visiting any of the destinations listed. I'd jump at the chance !
If we went with my partner's Father he already gets mistaken for Poirot!! Everyone would think we were filming which would be 'très amusant'
I love cycling too but will watch Moffy try the penny farthing first and Sandra would have to teach me to skateboard, Nearly drowned myself before Fibro trying to surf so don't like my chances!!

Gahhh the penny farthing is a wicked rumour started by ..... Ummm I can't remember umm VG x
I simply love train travel I have been from Venice to London on the orient express and from london to Rome on the TGV it is marvelous to sit and watch the world go by. I also love cruising on the Queen Victoria one of Cunards lovely little boats.
To go sailing in a tall ship would be so much fun instead of paddling on a canal.
Yes all in all I am a luxury model xgins
I don't think I'd change the way I travel really. I love my little car and will drive for as long as I feel I'm safe (!) I love going out, if simply to sit at the side of the sea! XX
Hot air Balloon for me so I wouldn't miss a thing
WOW yes I'd love this too. Did you see the program Stephen Tompkinson's Australian Balloon Adventure? It was great !!
Hot air balloon for me too! Can we add one to the fibro air fleet, plee-ee-ease?
I've been in one once, and loved it. Would definitely do it again.
Without fibro I'd go back to a motorbike. Still one of the things I grieve for.
If I had the money I'd buy a trike, as well.
I Love the photo!
I'd cruise to new york, greyhound bus to niagara falls, onto toronto and then cross-country on the canadian pacific trains through the rockies. then cruise back via iceland, norway & denmark.
anyone who wants to pay will be heartily welcome as I am a poor fibromite with 2 budgies to support..
sandra
Hands Sandra a farthing... Amazing what you find down the settee
I'll provide a penny. Then she'll be the lucky owner of a new bike!

I would snowboard! Never fancied skiing even when well but love the idea of whizzing down the slops on a big board - would even voluntarily put myself in a snowy place and that's saying something believe me!
I have changed my mind now about the hot air balloon, after what has happened in Luxor. We went to Egypt and I wanted to go in one but my hubby wouldn't , so not wanting to do it on my own I didn't bother. So sad for those killed, my thoughts are with their families. You never know when your last day on earth will be.
I'd have a horsedrawn carriage with a pair of Friesian horses. When I wasn't travelling by carriage I would be riding one of the horses sidesaddle.
I would also like to travel the Canadian Pacific, my grandmother did it in 1950, and I used to love the brochures and tourist magazines she brought back.
Another place I would love to visit is Japan, For the gardens, etc.
Cheers, Midori
