I see my earlier post has been withdrawn and I guess it is because there was content in it that offended some people.
I can assure you that the very last thing I would want to do would be to offend anyone as I know it can be like bullying and it seems demeaning to the person. I hate with a passion all these forms of abuse as i have some close family who have been targeted in the past, so am so sorry if it did cause offence.
I would like to say sorry for any offence and hope you will find the next ones totally funny and non offensive. I read that humour is a definite pain reliever where if you can find something amusing to concentrate on them it helps your body cope with the pain.
SO KEEP SMILING (I really do not think these researchers try a large enough cross-section to get a true reading)
Take care and kindest regards
Terry

Well done you. Haven't got a clue what you wrote, but you sound like me, you wouldn't intentionally offend anyone. Takes a big man to apologise even though he's not sure why and yes laughing is the best cure!
Hi there don't worry to much I found it quite funny and to be honest if there was any content you never meant it that way these days its all so precise ......ummmmmm not my speciality at all lol
Hi there sure its all good I found some real funny but to be honest one has to be so careful these days and if like me im not so not on the ball that way so don't worry ....
At least you used a warning in the title and we ARE all adults. However the guidelines for posts are clear. Don't let it put you off though. Stay with us, just toned down a bit.
Hi Terry, I am read your post and I found it really funny. I am a consenting adult and you had already posted the warning, so any one would know it was in jest. If my memory (not to be relied on) is correct you said on your post it was humour and for no one to take offence as you didn't mean it that way. Laughter is the best cure known to man..oh! and penicillin apparently :s
Going to read your next one. Thanks Susan
Hi Terry I am not keen on Risky, cant spell Jokes but thanks to your warning I just skipped the post and didn`t read it, having said that I do agree with the not here policy, simply because you have to draw the line somwhere.
I have no idea what you wrote, but would welcome something to make me laugh, or even smile. It is something that just seems harder and harder to do and you are right - it helps with the pain ( probably some scientific reason around endorphins or some such)
so if you have any funny tales, please do post them- the admins will let you know if something is not appropriate, there is a guide somehwere on here - but I am sure we would all welcome some light relief.
I didn't see your post, but I think I am totally unshockable. (did I just invent that word? since the red underline monitor doesn't like the look of it). sense of humour is so individual and unique, there will always be someone who is offended. Any attempt at humour is gratefully received, let's face it there's very little to laugh about with this Goddam disease
I think as others have said it is difficult these days as everything and this is why the guidelines are there. Everybody has different levels of what they find offensive or not and this is hard to make any judgement to find the right balance. So the guidelines are written to be inclusive of all views, as it is easier to say no to all then try to judge all posts individually.
I'm sure we all realised you meant no offence and I shouldn't worry about it moving forward. Looking forward to more posts as we all need a bit of humour to lighten the load of Fibro!
Thank you all for your comments but as I did not read it properly I think it was a bit stupid as there was some that may upset some people so to those who found no offence thank you and to those that i offended I am truly sorry and meant no harm or offence.
The next ones will be proof read and should be totally insult free to all and just have humorous items in.
