hi i have been on esa for neally 1 year now and still not heard owt abt my appeal it will be comin up to 1year as any 1 been throu the same just want it over and done with,i have fibromagia and mental heath .

had my medical last march got a letter in nov asking if I still was going ahead with my appeal only got 6 points am still waiting ! I know how you feel it just causes more worry waiting everyday for the letter ! So you are not alone ! Hope you here soon !

I had to tell DWP my year on contributions based was nearly up. They advised I would have to complete new claim for income based. My appeal was still outstanding (I was awarded zero points) I completed new form and was awarded income based. In the meantime I had a phonecall from someone asking if I still wanted to go ahead with my appeal. She asked me some questions, which I answered through tears. She said at the end of the conversation that she was satisfied that I was unable to work, and sent a letter to this effect. That was in early January and I still haven't heard anything else, but am assured that decision from medical was overturned and that the decision was now in my favour. It is worth keeping on at them, although at the time it feels hopeless. Good luck.
