How is everyone doing this week? Has anyone lost more weight? I got my 1 stone stone today at weight watchers (and a very pretty pink stone it is too) I was aided by not being able to eat much because I have oral thrush AGAIN! ow ow ow!

I am fed up with it. I have been watching what I eat, going to the gym, walking miles and not even one drop of wine for a month and still only lost 5lbs!! OH has lost nearly a stone and runs miles at the gym while i am walking and is so smug (Grrrrrrr!!!!). Tomorrow is 1st of Feb and I WILL be having a glass of red wine just for trying so hard :) I will keep trying though as want to lose a bit more for summer holidays etc.

Well done to you two. Great weight loss for you both against all the odd. \you should be very proud of yourselves

do you eat before you exercise? sounds odd but read on

my friend got up at 6 and ran for 30 mins each morning for 4 weeks, coming home & eating muesli for brekkie - she lost nearly 4lbs and was upset

a girl at work told her to eat some grapes or raisins when she awoke.

she lost nearly 10 lbs!

apparently, you have to kick start your metabolism first.

I've lost another 3 pounds. Now lost one and a half stone . I've been trying the hypno gastric band. Didn't think it would work but it has for me. Well done Amanda for reaching your one stone mark. It's more of a boost when you can see the difference in yourself and on the scales. X

Wish I could go back to Weight Watchers AGAIN. Trouble is I know it all. Oh doesn't that sound rude and pompous! What I mean is I do know how to lose weight, because I have done it. I found Rosemary Connelly very good because of the exercise you did with the group, until the teacher reverted to line dancing, [which I hated]. Weight watchers helped me for my wedding but I've been back twice since and just not got there. I end up almost telling the teacher how and what to teach! If I were my ideal weight I could run a group. Honestly, its not that difficult. You have to reset your mind and way of life, eat under a certain number of calories and not cheat. Well if it were that easy we would all be a size 12. [Size 6 is just stupid]. Sorry, having a little rant. Just stood on the scales and they lied to me. Told me I am 18 stone - day before yesterday I was 17.6 stone max - does depend on how you stand on the scales though doesn't it?! oH I HATE BEING FAT! But I also hate not eating. :o(

Sorry, also sleep deprived. Night. Just ignore me.

No it doesn't sound rude or pompous,I know exactly what you mean! I now weight about the same as i did when I started weight watchers just over a year ago. This is partly because of all the medication I take, partly because I couldn't afford to go to ww once my free sessions ended and also because I became totally disillusioned with the whole thing and gave up....AGAIN!

Now I have been diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes (on 27th December! ) so have the scary prospect of a visit to the hospital Dietician.
