First flare in months....

Hi all

I want to acknowledge I have a flare for the first time in months as no one else seems to bother and pretend it isn't happening.

I have been relatively well for a few months but when out Saturday for my Christmas night out with my cousin, I haven't move out of bed since. My whole body is aching so much I can barely stand, I have blisters in my left eye, my mouth, cheek and chin is swollen (always happens when I am having a flare, does anyone else?) and feel exhausted.

On the plus side I am in bed with my little Westie puppy Millie and we are having lots and lots of cuddles. Going to have a marathon kindle sessions and doze in between.

Hope you all have a good Tuesday! Speak soon, Claire x

Oh that will be nice, take it easy and enjoy it tomorrow. My friend is coming at 3pn to help me a bit so I am going to doze until then! Claire x

I woke up with a flare on Saturday too and like you, my only family (my Dad) doesn't want to accept it's happening.

I'm trying to take it easy and rest but I'm on my own so I have no other choice but to try and keep going.

Enjoy your cuddles with Millie, my dog Tara has been exceptionally snuggly since Saturday - I'm sure they can sense it.

Take care, warm gentle hugs to you :)

Family like to believe it isn't happening and we are just lazy, I wish!!

I live with my mum who works long hours so my friend Lucy is coming to visit for a couple of hours, help me with brushing my hair and some chores!

If humans were more like dogs...Millie definitely knows when I am not well. My "lazy days" turn into her "lazy days" too! She's an absolute pleasure.

Hope you feel better soon...just riding the storm and waiting for it to pass!! Claire xxxx

Hi there sorry to hear you are feeling so poorly,if flares and the horrible ailments they bring with them aren't evidence that Fibromyalgia is indeed progressive and can be inflammatory then what else is! i hope you feel well real soon especially over the festive period, take care Hugs Della xxx
