What do others think about the site benefits and work is it beneficial to us, or to the fakers.

Do we need training to pass the E S A assessment. The benefits and work site charge a membership fee which then gives you (so they claim) all the information on the test and all the info on the tricks Atos use they also give you guides on appealing. has anyone joined, if so, is it worth it, do they do as they say.

Bob if you email Admin we can give you the Benefits and Work info sheets for DLA and ESA for free, you don't have to pay for these.

We rely on this site a lot here at FibroAction, I personally think it's a great site with a mountain of helpful information and advice. I have joined and yes I think it's worth it.

To be honest with you I don't think about people who fake anything, I am only concerned about our members here. In all walks of life there will always be people who try to pull a fast one, I don't concern myself thinking about that. :)

Thanks for your speedy reply liberty I suffer from PTSD as well as Fibro and I can get myself so worked up with things like fakers, cheats, even something trivial like the way people park for eg, get blown out of all proportion. I wish I could be like you and not think of things or what people do. I have to be so careful but I am getting better and can now walk away from most situations, anyway, back to the question. That's great having the info sheets I will be emailing for them. I have only been a member for a couple of days but I am feeling like I have found a home, I can identify with so many by just reading the questions and answers It seems to me that like alcoholics being the only ones to understand alcoholics, Fibromyalgia sufferers are the only ones who can understand our illness.

God bless Rob

Hi Rob, my pleasure!

If you email info@fibroaction.org we will be happy to send you the Benefits and Work info sheets that I mentioned. I hope you find these useful. :)

I haven't always had the philosophy that I have today regarding not thinking about fakers and cheats. I think life has taught me to think like I do, I've been through many things privately that made me get issues in my head into perspective I guess. That's the easiest way to explain it.

If I dwell on the cheaters it's not going to do me any good and life can be tough enough with Fibro, so I switch off from those negatives. I am lucky because I'm a strong person, not everyone is like this I know and things do get to them.

It's understandable that you dwell on certain things Rob, that's not your fault. You have a lot to contend with having PTSD and Fibro too. I understand how you feel about the things you say.

Please be assured that we are here for you at all times and we will do all we can to help and support you.

Take care Rob. (((hug))) xxx

Hi liberty, Would it be possible for me to get a copy of that info too as I am going through the same thing and want to be prepared, I have read a few of the blogs as regards appeals and tribunals but if there is more info I would like to see it so that i haven't missed anything off that will help me.

thanks vikki xx

I read all the freebie things & felt a lot better prepared, I had no idea what to expect. I thought about paying to join but wasn't convinced whether it would be worth it, so didn't join.

I've been a member since my days as a CAB adviser first as group member then as a user and it certainly helped when I needed to appeal and I also used it before for my hubby's appeal in 2010 - he'd just had a quadruple by pass 10 days before the medical he failed, they said he was fit to go back to work after having his chest opened up, we won and it helped until he was fit again, fortunately he's now off ESA and working again :)

I have been a member for the past two years and have found their information invaluable. I had been refused DLA twice but after using their guide was granted lower care rate. I also used their guide for the ESA 50 which I don't think I could have faced without it. I was put into WRAG group, which I am appealing against - once again using guides and templates from B&W, so feel I have definitely had my money's worth from them. I should inagine next year I will be usng their PIP guides too.
