just thought id let you all know got a phone call this week and been offerd a independant living flat, but cant go view it yet due to renavation putting in a new wet room .kicthen ,new boiler and radiaters ,got my form for a grant as need new carpets extra and whight goods , ,im dreading it at the moment as my fibro and arthrites been very bad theses last few months , Went to pysio again monday with ankle got more excerise to do and still got weakness in it, .

DUE TO having pins out in august it set of my fibro as it was like truma ,didnt relise anything likethat set it off , .,

With the cold weather every part of my body been hurting even my ankle playing up , so got warm socks on and pain killers .

Hopefully the flat will be suited to your needs and if so here wishing that it is a happy safe homely home for you. Sorry to hear your feeling sore at the min this cold weather deff is helping, fibro flare ups are on the increase in the middle of one myself and feelin like crap :-(( lol roll on spring/summer or perhaps someone up there could engineer a win on the lotto so I can emigrate somewhere warm - in my dreams eh lol

Hi i think it was a major op that started my fibro off but was ok when i had my screws removed. It seems you are moving on with your life with a new flat and a posh wet room , i realise it is so hard when you are in so much pain but it sounds as if it will make things so much easier, hopefully you will have lots of willing helpers on hand so you don't have to do it all ? . I do hope everything goes well. I joined our local carers centre as we claim carers allowance for our duaghter. We are hoping to get the bathroom extended because of her condition and get the downstairs toilet turned into a wet room for when we have to keep her downstairs. Good luck xxxxx
