Hi, I know fibro sucks, bought a new outfit to go to wedding reception, then boom, was laid up in bed all weekend and missed it. You are not alone its so annoying

Yes this is a really tough part of having Fibro. I never plan anything, if I get an invitation I tell people in advance there is a good chance I won't be able to make it. This way I feel that I have told them and won't let them down. I get quite anxious if we have booked something up in advance, like our annual Christmas show that we have gone to for many years. It's not just the disappointment to others, it's the waste of money too! I missed last years, hopefully will make it this year!

It's hard to get excited about things knowing Fibro can rear its ugly head and put the dampers on things isn't it. I sympathise, we are all in the same boat on this subject!

Thank LIbs... Didn't keep me off here though.... Being silly keeps me sane through the pain and I occasionally am able to say .. Oh I know the answer to that

I agree completely VG, I try to make light of my Fibro at home, it's my way of coping. I try not to get down about it and by taking the mickey out of myself when I trip up or drop something, it doesn't drive me quite so nuts lol!
