Not too far from you being in Greater Manchester. My son has been having bad hayfever symptoms since Saturday. Thought it was a cold starting at first - but no cold symptoms, must be something in the air

Have you added something new to your house obviously you would notice a pet , but maybe a different air fresher fabric softener washing powder ... My OH and son are so sensitive I,ve given up on air freshner have to stick to same washing powder etc or they sneeze and itch and their eyes run until I have removed the offensive item..... But I LIKE them.....air freshness etc I mean not my OH and son ;)

Giggles evilly VG x

haha, vg VG! I like it.

no nothing, you are right about air fresheners and washing powder, also any aerosol or perfume.

Allergies have the same symptoms as hayfever. I have a lot of allergies so take antihistamines everyday. with having a lowers immune system from fibro we can develop new allergies anytime. hope this helps hun xxxx

I am still suffering with hayfever. My eyes are especially bad and gummed up in the morning. I was also sneezing on waking a couple of weeks ago though this seems to have stopped, although I hadn't noticed until replying to you.

I think it's down to the very wet summer we have had allowing spores and moulds ro thrive into the autumn. Normally the dryer summer weather would have killed them off.

I too have been having hayfever symptoms, although I have never suffered from it in my life before.

Cheers, Midori

HI I know this post is a bit late but I only joined yesterday lol. I am taking hay fever tablets and a nasal spray every day althrough the year. When I was first diagnosed with fibro I was invited to join a support group to talk to others and it seems that sinus problems and increased sensitivity is all part of the illness. Oh the joys lol xx hope this helps x
