Atos home assessment

I got a letter on 10th saying that I could have my medical assessment at home and not in Luton

I was very pleased and surprised that they didn't make a fuss.I was all ready for a fight! But I'm sure they will be difficult when they come!

If they've agreed to a home visit then perhaps you will be fortunate enough to get a fair and respectful assessment!!! I hope so... Surely there beats an honest and kind heart in at least one ATOS assessor!!!!

My home visit has been cancelled once rescheduled for two weeks time I am dreading it but am grateful they are coming to me....lord knows about the rest, if and when it happens will let you know how it goes. very best for yours, I have read all I can about thm and have concluded it is best to try not to give yes/no answers expand each questions answer as much as you can. I knowe that is easier said then done. All the best XH

I had a home visit for my assessment people kept saying that it was a good sign that they were coming to me . But oh no not a good sign at all . The doctor came and did not listen to me nor my husband did not write half of the things down that she was told, ignored that I had a angina attack whilst she was here with me and I was crying in pain due to her asking me to bend over and walk along the corridor. It was a complete waste of time I am now going to an appeal and I will fight for I know that she lied on the form as I now have a copy of the report she gave. DO NOT be taken in by the nice smile and friendly nature they are all the same I don't think they have a heart nor understand what we go through .
