I drove through serious fog yesterday and then wam out into the blue yes serious sunshine how...........

wonderrful to potter along the winding roads through north Yorkshire. The whole landscape responded to the sun it seemed to shake and glow with glorious autmn light. Everything so crisp and well defined.

Lunch at the Anchor at Gargrave good as always and then sit in the sun watch the grand children feerlessly play on the enourmous play fort. The smallest a little girl of just three displayed a momentous attitude - nothing at would scare her - she seems to reve up her little feet and then go for it! It doesnt matter what it is first to the robe bridge first down the slide showing her 5 yr old brother how to do it . We did laugh then back home having really enjoyed going some where for the first time in a month.
