What I like.....What I don't like

I like the Fibroaction site

It really keeps me busy

But I don't like sitting down too long

As it makes my feet go fizzy

I like to sit up in bed

When I am feeling very perky

But I don't like lying down in bed

It makes my body jerky

I like to drink hot coffee

It seems to wake me up

But I don't like to make it myself

As I shake and miss the coffee cup

I like to fill my face with cake

Enough to make me burst

But I don't like the side effects

The heartburn wakes me first

I like wet weather most of all

It keeps me nice and cool

But I don't like heat and sunny days

It makes me look a sweaty fool

I like the sound of singing birds

It makes me feel so calm

But I don't like a crowded room

As jumbled sounds lose all their charm

I like to have some real friends

Who know just how I feel

But I don't like so-called know it alls

These people aren't for real

So that is why I like this site

And it really keeps me busy

But now I have sat here far too long

And both my feet are fizzy

Glad you like it hun. The thing I realise about having fibro is we have to make ourselves smile and if we can make ourselves smile then we can make other sufferers smile too xxxxx

And I never even noticed you had put OJ lol until you corrected it. It makes me smile torealise people enjoy a funny snipe at the powers that be or a jibe at our unwanted illness. I think it is how we cope with it best as often we do not have many laces to turn xxxxx
