i asmume you ment scooter as in moter-wheelchair not the bike sort xx

as i dont live in london and i would hate to give wrong information i look for yourself .. lots of options

I googled it too - loads of hits.

I paid £10 a day in Dorset earlier this summer to give you an indication of prices. Some will deliver to and collect from hotels too - which is often cheaper than a taxi fare to fetch them yourelf. Remember not all the underground have lifts ie wheelchair access so be sure to check out accessability first with London transport and their website.

Hi hamble99 I see members have replied already. I just wanted to let you know this, when I was in Reading I hired a scooter from a disibility shop in the shopping mall & it was free, I spoke to them on the phone & they kept it for me everyday and I was allowed to take it out of the mall within a mile radius. I know they have these in a lot if shopping malls & thought it may be useful for you to know. I had it all day from 9 -5

Also when you hire from shop they charge you a deposit of sometimes about £50 & then I think It was £7 a day, so shop around my friend.
