Wow, last night was amazing !!! Arrived in Nottingham and went for a meal, which was not incredible, but some of it was quite tasty!
After the meal, we crossed the road to the Venue and went to our seats on the front row!!!!
We got comfortable and watched the sorting out and checking of equipment, which was quite funny!
The first act was Christian Scott who was "razor sharp trumpet skills", it was very loud, and they balanced it with a ballad.
And then the main act was about to enter the stage.......... Mr George Benson.......oh goodness me, he may be 68yrs old but his voice is as good as ever and his playing of the guitar is simply magic. I was able to dance for as long as I wanted and was able to.
When the show ended we made our way to the car, I was feeling pain across my shoulders and neck and down my arms and then it started in my legs and I really didn't think I would be able to get out of bed this morning.
I awoke at 11.50 I couldn't believe it!!!!! I struggled out of bed and stood under a hot shower for 15mins, I did my stretching exercises and took my dogs for a short walk and have done little else as I feel whacked. I had a really good night out knowing that I would pay for it !!!!
