Have you seen this, it helped me :-)
I've been taking part in the Twitter campaign to get this video more widely known. Chris Grayling had it removed from the Ministry of Justice YouTube site as he was concerned about some of the information given regarding, amongst other things, how you had a better chance of winning if you went in person rather than have a paper appeal.
The video was put back on YouTube last week only to be removed again a couple of days ago after it became the most watched MoJ video. When I last looked, just before it was pulled, it was over 7k views. They've just made it worse as quite a few of the Twitter campaigners have put it on their own sites so it's still out there - will they never learn about the power of the Social Media Network?
Ithink its ridiculous to take it off so that people cant see it.
I have always had my appeals overturned before it got to the tribunal stage but to be honest i would have been too scared to go to one personally.
Now I know what they are like I wont have any hesistation.
So thank you so so much for showing this.
xx
I shared it on Fb and on a few groups , hopefully it will help someone . It annoys me that they've taken it down !
I turned up to my appeal last year, but it did me no good at all. They lied on the form I got back as to why it was refused. they questioned me on things that they first said were not relevant for the case.
My GP was my worst enemy, as he also lied on his report and omitted the medication I was on.
I had no one to go with, so it was very gruelling, and terribly stressful. All I did, and there was a lot of work and papers to gather, seemed to go against me.
I have since applied for DLA and again was turned down with not one point. I have not tried to appeal, as I do not want to put myself through that again.
I have shared the video that was on youtube on Facebook and Twitter. It's on there now, as i am listening to it while I type.
