Ive suffered for yrs from stress incontinance and then urge incontinance, my last gp wouldnt give me anything, but had a continance clinic appointment last week and yes it can be sorted with meds, so hopefully, there is something that can be done

hi there - there are also exercises too! Ask for an appt at your uro-gynaeology clinic! Its an experience - but worthit! xx

the exercises wont work for urge incontinance its the bladder being overactive

I have had problems with my bladder since I got ill. I don't seem to be able to empty my bladder when I go to the toilet. I've had shy bladder syndrome for as long as I can remember. I'm going to speak to consultant about it when I get my appointment through.

i sometimes dont make it to the toilet in time . my gp told me to go for a wee more often so i dont get cut short xx

Im waiting for the hospital to write to gp with the meds I need, my bladder and bowel are overactive, so Im hoping they ll help

I seem to be always going for a wee, and it really annoys me, that I am, after working in a school for years, I had learned how to hold it ( had to!), so I often think it's lucky I'm permanently sick at home now, (well near a toilet anyway), I have diverticular disease which I may be getting operated on soon, so that's is a joy in itself,

Happy peeing ladies, no pun intended xx

I'm glad to hear there are others with this problem. I'm getting a bit worried about it to be honest. When I met my partner, 8 yrs ago, he always joked that I had a bladder the the size of Wales! Now though, I can still go a long time between 'going', but if I have the urge to go, I have to go straight away or I don't make it in time. I also have trouble emptying my bladder and sometimes even 'going' at all, no matter how desperate I am!

I will go and see my GP now that I know it can be helped.

Thanks guys xxxxxxxx

Hi,I have had trouble with my bladder,I ended up getting a operation,it is called a TVTO,ask your Dr for a referal to a consultant that deals with these problems,I have had it done it is brilliant, its only the other part to be fixed ,pelvic floor difunction which involves getting botox injection as my muscles do not relax to have a bowel moment, I am getting the botox injections tomorrow,

i also have problems with bladder. few yrs ago i went a clinic and was told it was stress incontinence...i went for physio for a long time doing pelvic floor exersises and stuff..i was oferd the op , but was told that it would probably come back due to fibromyalgia and the op was quite a big one...so i didnt have the op....i now have the same problem coughing laughing sneezing and the usual, but recently ,well the last couple of yrs ive found i have a very uncomfortable and almost painfull bladder if its full......i was told by the physio to try to wait untill the bladder is full before going the toilet and not to [ as i was doing ] going regular intervals just in case of a accident....so now im wondering should it be painfull with a full bladder....xx

Feel I little better I'm not suffering alone! It doesn't matter how much I drink, I pee for Britain. On a bad day, when I've over done things I can not tear myself away from the loo. Its not like tiny little wees, its pint fulls of super clear wee wee every 5 mins! On a good day I need to go every 30 mins to an hour =/ its annoying and embarrassing. Doctors told me its linked to my fibro.

I also have to be careful this time of year with my hayfever. Trying so hard not to sneeze, no meds seem to work!
