Low immune system?

Low immune system, got ear ansd throat infection, after bieng run down or is it the fibro? on antiboticts again had sinus infection 2wks ago.....new body please....xx

hi i think having fibro lowers our immune system os we are likely to pick up anything thats going. just latley had tummy bug and cold and cough lasting 4 weeks. oh what fun we have lol. hope you soon fell better if you find new body let me know where. soft hug xx

Hi i think it is the fibro that lowers our immune system i am very rarely ill and if iu am i normally shake it off within a few days but i have just had a chest infection it took me 2 weeks and 2 lots of anti biotic to get over it so i put it down to my body being totally run down due to six weeks prior to that having 1/3 hours sleep a night then getting that my body just shut down

There is no doubt about it that our immune system takes a bashing with having Fibro, mine certainly has. It's got better the last year - I was diagnosed three years ago and in those days I caught every cold going, had the flu, constant sinus infections., but now my health is good. I didn't even had a cold this Winter! I have radically changed my diet, nothing artificial, no additives, no hydrogenated fats, colours or artificial flavours or preservatives and it's made a huge difference to my overall health. It's also cheaper to buy foods without all these things in as processed foods cost more. I still have Fibro, CFS/ME, but can manage it better if my overall health is better, it doesn't get me down as much as it used to. Hang on in there everyone, it can improve . . . .
