Does anyone else have bowel urgency and pain all way down legs into knees impacting on mobility

Yes, I aternate between that and constipation! I believe it to be a combination of several things- the condition/IBS/and medication. I also experience lower back pain, pains in my abdomen. The pain in my legs feels like toothache and I try to relieve it by wearing long socks/legwarmers and resting my legs on a hot water bottle. I take omeprazole and senna for alternating bowel problems. I also have sciatica.

Yes I get that pain I thought I was the only one

If it's a bowel problem, then a Gastroenterologist is the best person to be referred to.

You may be suffering from Irritable bowel syndrome but the only safe way to know that for sure is to have tests to rule everything else out.

Have you spoken to your GP about it ?

Hi Jeannie i am the same as you my legs hurt so much even if i go up one step

i have suffered lower back pain for 20 years and pains every where i don't think there is anything left in my body that can come out as i need everything else,when i got my gallbladder out they could not understand it when they opened me that it was not that bad,same when i had a full his hysterectomy i would be roll around the floor in pain and it was the same was not that bad.

each time they said seeing i was opened they might as well take them out.

i take Lyrica i tried to go off all my tablets as i was fed up taking them but after 4 days i had to go back on it SO it really does work/help with the cramps it make the pain bearable .

Hi i also have back pain and the pain going down my leg into my foot i can't walk some days i also suffer with serve constipation i take senna every day but it dosent help i drink water and eat friut an vegies but i still cant go . i have pain in my legs every day but the night times are the worst the pain drives me up the wall, the only way i get a bit of comfort is when im moving my legs up an down the bed . i only thought it was me who had these problems . i have had a hysterectomy too when i was 32 i am 47 july but my body feels like 97 . xxx
