hi i am new on here and i just can not sleep want to spend time im awake doing something but my eyes hurt i love my cross stitch but i can not do that any ideas please

I always forget to come on here when I'm wide awake...probably because it hurts my eyes.....must remember....

I have a similar problem with sore eyes - even though I can sleep - and find two pieces of cucumber or two used teabags which have been in the fridge for a while placed on my eyes for 10/15 minutes can sometimes help to soothe them.
