I sit back and read others blogs every day and also feel a comfort from it. I try to remain positive and no my limits but recently i just cant do it!
I have had shaky hands for few months now and recently started getting shaky weak legs.
This afternoon my legs just gave up and i cant walk. They are weak, spaghetti like and i feel like as soon as i start to walk i am going to fall to the floor. I was fine this morning, just the normal fibro, aches, pain and fatigue.
I cant stop crying and don't know what to do with myself.
I'm so frightened. This hasn't happened before.

I have dr's appointment thursday as i have had the shaky hands and headaches so at least that is booked. Ive had physio in the past but like i say this is a new one to me. I struggle daily with all the other nice bits of fibro and im struggling to come to terms with my limited life now.
I have been referred to the pain team at the hospital but i just dont seem to be able to cope with the shaky feeling in my hands and legs and the weak feeling.
Ive always been so active and have been able to work 3 days a week but im so scared to go to work tomorrow with how im feeling.
I know im not alone but right now i feel the loneliest person in the world. Thank you for messages xx
Awww yeah go tell GP i get like it too! Its a scarey feeling i admit that but dont let it get the better of you , is it constant or does it ease after sitting? We get so many different things you dont know whether coming or going.. I will go do things and keep head up best you can . I drive n cry lol and then talk to myself asking what am doing thinking can other cars see me. Lots of soft snuggles xxx
hi fairycazzie! Well it feels better when sitting but it still feels weak and shaky. My hands you can see shaking but my legs you cant. I get scared as i start to think is it something else like MS or something? I wonder if its the gabapentin? or just wonder! Oh why didnt i study medicine at school lol. Hubby has come home and had a good cry but still feel so frightened. Thank you all for your messages....it really really helps xx
Hii i really do feel for you!! But it could possibly be a side affect and i still think i have MS but await brain scan anyway. I have past history too long but adds up and like you with shakiness i gone through phases! I went out other day and started to get shaky with hands my legs get weak they also get heavy. But you have a good cry because bottling it up does not help and tell GP too your getting upset. Theres so many symptoms that mimic and cross with other things and doctors and specialists have to make sure get it right this is why sometimes takes what seems forever to us sufferers. Xxxxxxxlots huggles
Sending you big hugs and lots of love, i too suffered like this my legs just give way, it could be my hips/knee's or ankles that just go and down i go, i also have the shakeing hands and i have no control over them at all and it is very frightening and very scary, i also have been thinking i mite have MS, and i have decided this week i am def going to see my GP and talk to him about it, i have been thinking i could have MS for the last couple of months but have put it to the back of my mind, keep your chin up love and hugs xxxxx
Thank you. I know what you mean, you think it then think nooo it cant be im over reacting but the symptoms are so similar it does make you wonder/ worry.
Its a bit like the feeling when you havent eaten enough and you get weak and shakes, but i def am eating enough ( waffles and ice cream tonight made by hubs) mmmm..lol
What you are describing sounds very familiar. I had this back in novemeber. I was so scared the gp gave me a high dose of prozac to calm me down as i really did freak. I too felt so alone. It lasted 6 weeks and it still comes back now but i know what it is now, as like you have just said i thought i had MS and i went to a neurologist and had an mri and i didnt have Ms, but i still didnt have the answers on why my legs were like that.
I then got diagnosed with ME and hypermobility syndrome which explains alot. My legs were worse at the knees.
I too felt weak and dizzy even though i was eating. It was the strangest thing and if i can help in anyway i can, you can pm if you want hun.
You do need to see a doctor though as you need to get it recorded and to rule out anything else.
hope you feel better soon, hugs, kel xxxx
Hi you need to write all your symptons down however silly you may think it sounds just write it all down and make an appointment to see your gp and discuss all of them and how you are feeling i am sure they will help you and prob refer you to either physio or a rheumatoligist but please see someone and also talk to familty and friends
i hope that you will feel better soon in youraelf as the more you worry yourself the more you feel things are getting out of control and sometimes worse than they are but when you share it with another party it seems to help allieviate the symptons
