joints clicking

my wrists have been clicking for a while as well as my ankles but noticed yesterday that bot my knees are doing it as well .

when i touch them and move them can feel something move as well!

not sure if this is the fibro or something else but off to drs next weds and will mention it to her as well (its painful as well as clicking!)

Hi Angied i have that as well to be honest i have no idea what it is, when my docs see me they say "oh its probably just your fibro again" x sorry not much help but if you find out its something different please let me know xx thank you xx

i also get this and i do sympathise with you it is extreamly painful i get swelliong of my knees ankels wrists and elbows gp said i have "tennis elbow" they took an xray of my knee and said he couldnt see anything causing clicking but clicking is cause by ligaments not bone and i didnt think ligaments show on xray but who am to question lol a little knowledge is a dangerous thing so if you find out anything different let me no cos i ill be going back again

Yes i click everywhere and it is so painful at times.

I have just found out i have hypermobility syndrome and my gp tells me it is that as my joints have been too mobile all my life.

Last year my hip actually clicked out of joint, it was agony and i couldnt walk on it for 3 weeks.

I think my shoulders are worse for painful clicking.

Hi Hun,

I get clicking in my wrists, my ankles and my right knee. I am wondering if its the fribro making our ligaments softer so it'd not holding them so secure. It certainly is painfull whatever it is.

hi i also have clicking joints they take it in turns to click at different times i could make a tune out of them at times well got to laugh or you would cry love to you diddle x

yep im th same i have clicking and it goes through me i hate the noise

Me too, especially the tips of my shoulders, my lower back and my hips. I click almost every time I move. My right shoulder is the worst, if I roll over onto it in the night it feels like one bone shifts and clicks against the other and it wakes me up with the pain! They say clicking joints doesn't lead to arthritis but I can't say I'm convinced of that!
