opened the door to be greeted by a man!!!! not a good start!! aparantly lady doc off sick so this was a locum, a VERY GOOD LOCUM!!!!!
he was nice, he listened, he understood, why o why cant he be my permanent doc!!!
he is even going to the pct to see if i can jump over the border to suffolk from norfolk and be seen at the bury st edmunds hospital because he thinks its appaling that my back hasnt been sorted after 15 years at my local hospital!!
and he fully understood fibro, and panic attacks and was very cross that on my last visit my request for muscle relaxents was denied. he has put me on Diazepam as he said it will relax muscles AND control my attacks!! as he understood i was taking lots tablets so he recommeneded this one to help with both symptoms! one new one instead two.
so i came away unusualy satisfied!!!
how many of us say that after visit to docs!!
one bad thing today though is i had to remove my hair extensions as she had put them in to tight and gave me awfull headaches and sore scalp, also making alopecia worse! so ive gone back to short thin hair again

Hey Nadine, Glad you had good experience, and getting things looked into, me too and doesn't it make such a difference, when Drs listen and take action. Just makes you feel brighter. Take Care Hun
So glad it went well for you Nadine and yes what a stroke of luck.I have followed your blogs on here but don`t often reply as couldn`t help. But I think I did tell you to fight for muscle relaxants and so pleased you have something now.
Many many years ago a locum saw me and said if I was his patient I would not be left in the state I was in and made a complaint to the surgery I was with then,
Why oh why cant there be more Doctors like that.Although I can`t complain my dr is a sweetie and one dr in my practice has fibro. So they are well up on it.
Its brilliant you are getting sorted! I have just started seeing someone else within the practice and he is trying to do all sorts of things to help me out. Sometimes it takes seeing someone completely different to get things moving... long may it continue!
