Got up this morning and got sick - nothing to being up (sorry) but very shakey. Went for the kill or cure approach - cup of tea and a hobnob (!) - and this stopped me wanted to be sick.
Think is I have been barely able to move today. Pain levels were considerable higher, but I felt like my limbs were so heavy and worn out I just didn't and don't know what to do with myself. I actually slept all day - only getting out every 3 hours to let me dogs out.
My question - is there a way i can prevent hitting a wall like this and how to others deal with it if they do?
Thanks for reading

Could it be a virus? There are a lot going round this year it seems.
Do you often get sick with flares? That's unusual, but not unheard of.
As a general thing with Fibro, pacing is recommended to help prevent bad crashes. That can mean not doing as much as you can on better days, so can be really hard. It took me a long, long time to change my attitutde to life and even now I have a tendency to overdo it somewhat still (no where near as bad as I used to be!). Developing a relaxed attitude where you put your health first may be really beneficial. It doesn't have to mean doing nothing, but simple things like taking a break before you absolutely have to can help.
In my personal experience I have found if I do too much one day I pay for it the next... but each person is different! Can you recognise anything you did the day before which might have worn you out? I had a similar day on Friday but put it down to a minor bug I had probably picked up from somewhere...
There is no real way of preventing this happening again Spirit, apart from trying to regulate what you do daily, and if you have a heavy day, make sure you can rest the following one. As I said, this works for me, but might not work for others.
